“Changes that are loved into being, are permanent.”

~ Louise Hay

Welcome to Balanced Inside and Out

Our body is brilliant in its ability to process what we eat, breaking down all the parts and distributing those parts to the appropriate cells - gleaning the nutrients and flushing the waste. We often take our body for granted, thinking we can eat foods void of nutrition and expect it to run efficiently and for the long hall.

When we eat a balanced diet and supplement with high quality vitamins - the body and mind work optimally!

“It’s never been true, not anywhere in time, that the value of a soul, of a human spirit, is dependent on a number on a scale. We are unrepeatable beings of light and space and water who need these physical vehicles to get around. When we start defining ourselves by that which can be measured or weighed, something deep within us rebels.”

~ Geneen Roth

“Your desire for health and wholeness needs to be stronger than your attachment to pain and suffering.”

~ Sue Dumais

A bit about me...

I’m a Maine girl, through and through. I was born, raised and married in Maine. It is a stunningly beautiful state, where the weather is often dramatic.  The food is healthy and the people are unpretentious, salt of the earth, I like to say - and the pace is slow. Something about this combination tends to bring out the best in people – Mainers and tourists!

After I married, my husband’s career as a speech therapist took us places we didn’t expect; Ohio, Virginia and Kentucky. We adapted and started a family. I dedicated my life to raising our 2 boys, creating homemade healthy meals, learning to be a mom. We eventually settled in the Capital District of New York – a bit closer to the ‘Maine’ land – where since 1993 we established a wonderful community of friends.    Read more
